Joni and Friends Wheels for the World

We supported a missionary to take wheel chairs to Peru.  Our missionary was to have been Diane Ngo and we have added her to our prayer list as she became ill and could not go.   We just received word that she will be on her way to Egypt this year.

We also have begun collecting wheel chairs for the program so if you have contacts for old wheel chairs contact the church and we will talk to you about how we can collect them.

Local Food Supply

We work cooperatively with several groups in the community including Solomon's Masonic Lodge, The Jessup Food bank, and Esther Chapter Order of Eastern Star in Savage, Md. to provide food and other needs for those in the surrounding area.

AOET Missionary Support

We sponsored a missionary to Jinga Uganda to work with the AOET school and help build a new playground and design a sports camp for the students.  Several of our parishioners also sponsor a child at the school.

Our Daily Bread Hot Meal Program

Our Daily Bread is Maryland’s hot meal program, serving more than a quarter million meals to the hungry of Baltimore City each year.  They serve nutritious lunches every day of the year and breakfast to seniors and individuals with disabilities each weekday.
